Durango Mountain Resort just keeps getting better and better with its multi million dollar upgrades and this roomy Sitzmark Mountain Retreat has one of the best locations on the mountain. Park your car because you can simply walk to all the activities/shops etc at the resort's village. This year there is a new run right behind the condo so skiing in and out is even easier. 

With 4 bedrooms (plus a sofa bed) The Sitzmark Mountain Retreat has plenty of room for friends and family. The wonderful open floor plan with living room, kitchen and dinging area look out onto the mountains and woods. The large patio is a wonderful place to enjoy family BBQs or just to sunbathe. Look out your kitchen and living room windows for views of the incredible San Juan Mountains. The large dinging area can accommodate your family and friends in comfort. The master suite and powder room complete this upper level.

The bi-level floor plan offers the master suite privacy on the top floor with a comfortable king sized bed and attached bath. The rest of the family and friends enjoy the whole lower level with 3 additional bedrooms with queen beds and another full bath. The kids will enjoy extra TV's and games in their bedrooms if desired. An oversized storage area for ski equipment etc. and a laundry area complete this lower level.

A short walk takes to you to the lifts if skiing, boarding or snow biking is on your list for winter fun. If you would rather shop, get a massage or simply sit in front of the fire of the new day lodge/restaurant and watch the skiers come down the mountain, the village is right there for you. On a sunny day (and Durango Mt Resort has over 300 days of sunshine a year!) what could be better than to enjoy a cocktail, steaming cup of Starbucks coffee or snack from the outdoor bar/patio as you soak up this winter sunshine on the deck.

This same village area turns into a summer playground for all in summer with Alpine slides, mountain biking, nature hikes, climbing wall, miniature golf, horseback riding and even a kids day camp! Enjoy the multiple music festivals in The Big Tent.

Located between downtown Durango and historic mining town of Silverton, The Sitzmark Mountain Retreat's location is also a perfect summer mountain location where you are just minutes from world class fishing, white water rafting, and the famous Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. BUT while only a few minutes from town, you are in the heart of the mountains away from the heat and crowds of downtown. Here is where you get to enjoy peace, tranquility and may even sight a deer, elk, or bear!!

There is so much so see and do in Durango!! However, just reading a book on the deck, watching the snow fall in front of the fire or spotting the wildlife might entice you to just stay home and enjoy your mountain getaway.

Prices above do not include 6.8% sales tax, $145 cleaning fee, and fully refundable security deposit of $300. Cancellations made 46 or more days prior to arrival date are fully refundable minus a $100 handling fee (61 days for Christmas season and Spring Break ). Rental fees for cancellations made within 45 days(60 days at Christmas and Spring Break) of arrival date are non refundable. (Sales tax, cleaning fee and security deposits are refundable regardless of cancellation date.)
