The home sits on 1 acre and boasts breathtaking views of the Needles Mountains. Twilight Peaks backs up to Elbert Creek and 152,750 acres of National Forest with access to a hiking trail that leads to the top of Castle Rock peak.
The home has lots of rooms and lots of function. With 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, this home sleeps 8 comfortably.
Open floor plan – dining area, kitchen and living room with high T&G wood ceiling. Two wood burning fireplaces with gas starters (Living room and Covered back porch). Another room that currently is used as a sitting room, but could easily be used as a more formal dining room. The master bedroom with a coffered ceiling is on the main floor with a delightful bathroom looking out at the Castle Rock cliffs from the claw foot tub and a cedar lined walk-in closet. Two guest bedrooms are also on the main level and another delightful guest bedroom upstairs. Enjoy covered decks on the front and back of the house with log railings.
Full kitchen with granite counter tops and eating bar with bar stools. All stainless steel upgraded appliances and an AGA oven/stove that will be a delight to the cook.
Full two car garage.
The driveway is cleared for vacation rental guests, but a Honda track driven snow blower is available (if desired) and for use by long term guests.
Four wheel drive is recommended in winter (not in summer), but usually not necessary because highway 550 is kept open by the county and our community roads are kept plowed when snow fall exceeds 6 inches.
