With over 2700 sq. ft., 5 bedrooms, including the guest suite, 4 1/2 baths, The Durango Slopeside Home at Elkpoint is one of the exquisite townhomes built directly on the slopes. It is one of the best that Durango Mountain Resort has to offer and you can save hundreds of dollars by renting directly from the owners.

The home is beautifully appointed with granite counter tops, 2 fireplaces, jetted oversize tub, and views to die for. The mountain location is an easy 25 minutes to the historic western town of Durango where you can enjoy shopping, restaurants and the famous Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Train. It is the perfect place in the perfect location for summer and winter fun.

The main level offers a huge wall of windows that look out onto the incredibly beauitful San Jauns.

You can enjoy these views as well as the cozy fireplace from anywhere in the beautifully appointed great room. State of the art in-floor heating will keep you toasty. Enjoy family dinners in the gourmet, fully supplied kitchen. In summer, grill some steaks and sit outside to watch the golden sunsets on the mountains. Better yet, ski directly out your front door and join in all the skiing/boarding fun, shopping and dining that the resort has to offer. Come home and walk out your back door to soak under the stars in the hot tub which is in one of the private clubs that you will have access to. You can enjoy a private bar, lounge, hot tub, BBQ area and computer acess in this wonderful club.

Down the hall, there is a bedroom with a king bed .   Kids will love the second bedroom with its western motif /twins beds. A full bath and laundry room complete this main level.

Step up to the third level and the loft offers a cozy reading area with views of the mountains. This is a wonderful place to savor the simple joy of watching snow fall in this winter wonderland. There is a desk computer/area  with WiFi to catch up on your email.

The master suite boasts a king bed with romantic fireplace. The luxurious adjoining travetine tiled bath has a jetted oversized tub and a walk-in shower.

The fourth bedroom offers a queen bed and just steps away is another full bath. You will delight in incredible mountain views as you step out onto the balconies or enjoy the views of all  bedrooms.

The versatile downstairs "guest suite " or fifth bedroom has a queen sofa bed  and optional comfy air bed. This area is great for a kids' or teens' getaway with entertainment center, attached bath and private patio. The game table makes this a wonderful room for family and friends to enjoy quality time together.

Direct access to an oversized one car garage provides room for skis, bikes etc.
