Wildflowers in bloom, the sound of a waterfall , a crisp fall day with the Aspens golden on the mountains or a sparkling winter wonderland - all describe the setting for this wonderful 4 bedroom/4.5 bath luxury town home right on the slopes at Durango Mt Resort. This is one of the few luxury ski in ski out townhomes that accommodate large families. Plus you are one of the select few that get to use the private club with outdoor heated swimming pool/water slide, outdoor hot tub and fitness center. Also located in the private club is the day spa were you can enjoy a massage after a wonderful day on the slopes.

The big fireplace in the kitchen/dining/living area will make family dinners a special treat. In summer you see Aspen/Spruce/Pine covered mountains and in the winter these snow capped peaks will entrance you through the floor to ceiling windows. Enjoy morning coffee or BBQ on the balcony outside the great room. Enjoy movies with the family on the big screen TV.

The master suite on the main floor has a king bed, it own bath, fireplace and private balcony. This balcony overlooks the ski slopes. The second bedroom has two sets of bunk beds and its own bath and patio. Right across the hall the third bedroom enjoys a queen bed, private bath and private patio. The top level provides a great place for children with the TV room, a queen sofa bed and two twin sleeper ottomans. The fourth bedroom is right off the "TV Room" and has two double beds with its own bath. There is a desk for working (if you must!) and Wi-Fi makes it easy to connect to the outside world. Perhaps you won't want to!

You can walk right out your door in winter to the slopes but short walk (or shuttle if you prefer) takes to you to the village for restaurants and shops and other activities like snow shoeing or snowmobiling If you would rather shop, get a massage or simply sit in front of the fire of the new day lodge/restaurant and watch the skiers come down the mountain, this is the place!. On a sunny day (and Durango Mt Resort has over 300 days of sunshine a year!) what could be better than to enjoy a cocktail, steaming cup of Starbucks coffee or snack from the outdoor bar/patio as you soak up this winter sunshine on the deck.

This same village area turns into a summer playground for all in summer with Alpine slides, mountain biking, nature hikes, climbing wall, miniature golf, horseback riding and even a kids day camp! Enjoy the multiple music festivals in The Big Tent.

Located between downtown Durango and historic mining town of Silverton, The Sitzmark Mountain Retreat's location is also a perfect summer mountain location where you are just minutes from world class fishing, white water rafting, and the famous Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. BUT while only a few minutes from town, you are in the heart of the mountains away from the heat and crowds of downtown. Here is where you get to enjoy peace, tranquility and may even sight a deer, elk, or bear!

There is so much to see and do in Durango! However, just reading a book on the deck, watching the snow fall in front of the fire or spotting the wildlife might entice you to just stay home and enjoy your mountain getaway.
